How it works
Theory
Students learn underwater camera and editing techniques in the classroom.
Confined water session
Students then get to grips with those skills during a pool session.
Open water session
Finally, it's action time! Students head off to an open water environment and showcase what they've learned to capture some content of their own.
Time commitment
This course is completed in a classroom session, an evening dive in a local pool and a whole-day trip to an open water dive site, consisting of 2 further dives.
What you'll learn
Choosing an underwater camera system.
The PADI® S.E.A. (shoot, examine, adjust) method for getting great shots quickly.
Principles for good composition of underwater photographs.
Practical techniques to take and edit great photos.
Setting dive computers for diving with enriched air.
The differences between diving with air and enriched air.
Pre-requisites
Participants must be aged ≥ 10 years.
Participants must have a PADI® Open Water, a PADI® Junior Open Water or another qualifying certification.
