Whether you haven't been diving for a while or you're yet to finish your PADI® Open Water course, a ReActivate session can give you a welcome refresher.
This is not a course you pass or fail - rather, it's an opportunity to review and, if necessary, enhance your pre-existing skills.
Planning to dive and haven't been for a while? Dive organisers may require you to complete a ReActivate session if you haven't dived for a while.
Recommendation: We recommend completing a ReActivate session before diving again if you're a certified diver and haven't dived for > 6 months.
How it works
Each diver registers with us.
Logbooks and certifications are checked.
All the open water skills you'll need to feel confident are reviewed, including equipment assembly skills and safety procedures.
Everyone will be given the opportunity to practice their skills to ensure they feel comfortable.
Finally, each diver's logbook / PADI® account will be certified to indicate they completed a ReActivate session.
Time commitment
ReActivate sessions can be completed in 1 pool session. There is also some associated eLearning to complete, prior to the pool session.
Pre-requisites
Participants must be aged ≥ 10 years.
Participants must have completed the theory and Confined Water Dives in a PADI® Open Water course.
Participants must bring their current diiving logbook or a device with the PADI® app installed.
The PADI® app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
Participants must bring swimming gear. Don't forget a towel!
Participants must have completed 40 logged dives before starting this course. To earn PADI® Divemaster certification, participants must complete 60 logged dives.
We can supply all of the equipment necessary for this course. You're also welcome to bring your own.
